Dear Students,
 

 I hope you have had a great summer and are ready to get back to learning. Many of you know that I was planning to teach 8th grade Science this year, however, after careful consideration, I have decided to retire. There were many factors that went into my decision. Of course all of the challenges created by the Covid 19 virus played a role but the students that I taught last year helped make this decision easier. I cannot think of a better group of students with which to end my career. You were a kind, giving, funny and fun group of young adults. I enjoyed everyday I had with you last year. I am so proud of all of you. I know that you will persevere through the challenges ahead. Please continue to strive to do your best and I know that you can achieve your dreams.
